Recently, China’s tech sector made headlines again for the wrong reason.
 According to several market intelligence firms, a deep ultraviolet lithography machine, or DUV — a critical piece of equipment used in chip manufacturing — suddenly broke down at a semiconductor plant in China.
Because the machine is extremely expensive and considered the “heart” of the production line, Chinese engineers urgently contacted the Dutch supplier, ASML, asking them to send a technical team for on-site repair.
