China’s Most Popular Bakery 85°C Closes, 90,000 Bakeries Shut Down in One Year

Data shows that by December 15 this year, the number of bakery stores in China had decreased by about 88 thousand. A survey released by Meituan revealed that the average lifespan of a bakery store in the domestic market is just 32 months, with more than 57 percent of stores closing within two years of opening.
