On February 3, 2026, the Singapore Airshow opened as scheduled. In the China Aviation Industry Group's exhibition area, a model of the J-35A attracted attention. Palmer Luckey, founder of the American arms company Anduril Industries, personally measured the J-35 carrier-based jet with a tape measure. He then posted on social media, stating that he does not believe China's J-35 can reach true capabilities. With this dismissive gesture, he mocked the Chinese Communist Party’s stealth fighter as nothing more than a “copy.”
