On June 13th, Typhoon "Wutip" hit, bringing strong winds and huge waves to the coast of Sanya, Hainan. The waves, reaching up to several meters high, crashed against the nearby coastal roads. The Hainan Marine Forecasting Center issued a level two wave warning, stating that due to the typhoon's impact, large to giant waves, ranging from 3.0 to 4.5 meters, appeared in areas near Sanya, Wenchang, Qionghai, Wanning, and Lingshui.
