Nationwide COVID Spike: Hospitals Overwhelmed, China’s Humanitarian Disasters Continue

Recently, China's epidemic prevention policy took a 180-degree turn. On December 7, the Communist authorities suddenly abandoned the three-year-old zeroing policy and changed it from strict closures to full openness overnight. Some local governments even said that the public should all expose themselves so that universal immunization could be achieved as soon as possible. Officials claimed that they would complete the three-year journey of western societies’ return to normal in three months. However, what’s shocking is that the Chinese government did not warn or prepare for this sudden unsealing. Hospitals, pharmacies, and the people did not receive any information or have time to make necessary preparations, so even funeral homes were caught off guard by the sudden influx of deaths. The Chinese government chose to lie flat and did not take any effective mitigation measures in the face soaring infections caused by the reopening, resulting in various humanitarian disasters in China.
